What Is Reiki?

Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese technique that involves “laying on hands” to reduce stress, increase relaxation, and promote healing. Rei means "universal,” and ki means “life energy.” As such, Reiki is a spiritually guided life force energy that knows what a person needs and will adjust accordingly. Although Reiki is spiritual in nature, it is not a religion and does not conflict with religious beliefs. In fact, people of all religions practice Reiki and it is known to enhance the spiritual beliefs of the person.

Reiki is also a form of alternative therapy that uses universal energy to help balance the chakras, auras, and meridians of the body by removing blockages and negative energy caused by physical injury or emotional pain. This method is similar to acupuncture and acupressure in that it improves the flow of energy around the body which causes it to go into a state of relaxation so deep that it can activate the body’s natural healing process. A person may also feel mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being with an overall sense of peace.

What is KA Reiki®?

KA is the life force or spiritual double of a person. Reiki is spiritually guided life force energy. KA Reiki is the integration of the spiritual double of the person, enhanced with spiritually guided life force energy. This spiritual doubling allows a person to channel Reiki in a more clear and defined manner. This strengthens the connection of the person’s inner spirit to Universal energy, Earth energy, and the physical form. The practitioner of KA Reiki will be able to connect with ancestral bloodlines who will assist with personal healing and the healing of others.

KA Reiki requires moments of silence and inner focus which may be achieved through Reiki meditation. Once attuned, it is recommended that the practitioner should meditate at least 30 minutes a day while performing self-Reiki. During meditations, it is recommended that the focus is on increasing the spiritual connection with the Universe, Earth, and all ancestral lines. With KA Reiki, it is possible to learn which ancestor was the original source of power for the healers gifts. Once discovered through spiritual connection, healers may be shown and taught how to use their gifts in this world to help others.
